The Southern Invitational Rundown Report by Team United
Team United played well all weekend at the Boo Williams Facility at this years 2011 Hoop Group Southern Invitational. The Organization took six teams and all teams made it out of pool play with big wins. While defeating some big programs the 14u advanced to the Silver Championship Game. With a big win against Canada Grassroots the 17 team advance to the Gold Bracket Quarter finals against the eventually champs East Coast and losing by one point. 16u Harris made it to the first round on the Gold Bracket. 16u Gaither made gold Quarter Finals to face a good Maryland Finest Team. 15u Walker made the final four of the Silver Bracket and the story of them all was the 15u Dixon team that won big in the semi final against BWSL and then squared off in the Gold Bracket finals against Team Final. UNITED WE STAND!!!!

- 2013 SG Clay Byrd was lights out from distance. The 6'2 lefty sharp shooter may considerably be the top 3pt. shooter in the state of NC in the 2013 class.
