National 7th Place Game - MV Kansas City Blue vs. North Carolina United Celtic Stars (9:00am Wooddale) - Kansas City Blue medaled and recieved their first automatic bid for the 2006 14&U National Championships year's finish by beating the Charlotte United Celtic Stars 51-43. Trevor Releford led the MV KC Blue and was one of the most impressive shooting guards in tournament. Jarell Eddie of the United Celtic Stars is a top ten prospect in the class of 2010, but was frustrated by his lack of touches on offense early in the game and struggled to get going until late in the third quarter. Jordan Downing had 3 steals for the Celtic Stars but Kansas City collected 11 steals of their own and had an eight point run that clinched the game in the final four minutes. Rodney Givens played well on both ends of the floor for Kansas City and rebounded well from the guard and forward positions. The United Celtic Stars' Corey Hawkins kept the team close in the second half and led the team all week to help them earn their respectable 11th place finish in Memphis.
